Chemical Resistance Rigid PTFE Lined Tubing-10mm / 20mm / 30mm /40mm
PTFE lined tubing is designed for chemical transfer applications where reliable performance and material stability are required. The PTFE lining provides resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, and other corrosive chemicals.
Available in 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, and 40mm sizes, this tubing offers temperature resistance, low friction, and non-stick properties. It is suitable for use in chemical processing, laboratory equipment, industrial fluid systems, and precision applications.
Chemical Properties
Resistance
The PTFE inner lining layer can withstand various acids, alkalis, organic solvents and chemical media, and is suitable for the transportation of corrosive fluids
01
Non-stick
The surface friction coefficient of PTFE is low, making it less likely for media to adhere to the tube wall and reducing residue.
02
Low Friction
The inner wall is smooth, which can reduce the resistance of fluid transportation.
03
Aging Resistance
The material has stable performance and is not prone to significant changes over long-term use.

When choosing large-diameter PTFE hoses, please consider the following factors:
Inner hole type
Smooth inner hole hoses (such as the Hyperline SB series) offer maximum flow and minimize sediment accumulation, making them easy to clean. Corrugated inner holes (such as Corroflon series) have higher flexibility and bending capacity.
Reinforcing layer
PTFE itself has relatively low mechanical strength. To withstand high pressure, hoses are typically reinforced with stainless steel wire, synthetic fibers (such as Nomex® aramid), or spiral steel wire braiding.
Application scenarios
The chemical resistance (able to resist the erosion of almost all chemical substances), high and low temperature resistance (-180°C to +260°C), and non-stickiness of the hose make it an ideal choice for industries such as chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, automotive, and aerospace.
Electrostatic dissipation
When transporting flammable liquids, electrostatic dissipation PTFE hoses with carbon black-filled inner tube materials can be selected to reduce safety risks.

Why PTFE?
Chemical Resistance
Handles aggressive solvents, acids, and bases without degrading.
01
Low Friction
Near-unrestricted flow for research materials.
02
Temperature Stability
Works in extreme hot and cold environments.
03
Purity
Prevents leaching of contaminants, critical for sensitive applications.
04
Non-Stick
Easy to clean and prevents buildup.

FAQ:
Q:1.What are the standard sizes?
A:2*4mm 4*6mm 6*8mm 8*10mm 10*12mm 12*14mm ect,all are our standard sizes.
Q:2.What wall thickness can be made?
A:0.5mm~3mm.
Q:3.Do you have food safety certification?
A:Yes,we have FDA.
Q:3.How many meters in a roll?Do you accept customized length?
A:Our package 50metres or 100meters in a roll.We accept customized cutting length.
Q:4.Which media are PTFE tubes suitable for conveying?
A:Water, hot water, steam, acid, alkali and other chemical liquids, organic solvents, gases, food and beverage liquids, laboratory chemical reagents. The specific application requires the selection of appropriate specifications based on temperature, pressure and medium concentration.
Q:5.Is PTFE tube suitable for the food ?
A:Sure. Food-grade PTFE tubes have excellent chemical stability, are not prone to react with food liquids, and do not produce odors. They can be used in fluid transportation systems for food, beverages, coffee machines, drinking water equipment, etc.
Q:6.How much pressure can PTFE tubes withstand?
A:The pressure resistance of PTFE tubes is related to the tube diameter, wall thickness and temperature. Generally speaking, the smaller the pipe diameter and the thicker the wall thickness, the higher the pressure-bearing capacity. As the temperature rises, the pressure resistance performance will decline. The actual selection should refer to the specific specification parameters.
Q:7.Can PTFE tubes be exposed outdoors for a long time?
A:Sure. PTFE has excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays, oxidation and aging, and can be used in outdoor environments. However, for long-term use, it is still necessary to select the appropriate specification based on the actual temperature, mechanical strength and environmental conditions.
Q:8.What advantages do PTFE tubes have over ordinary plastic tubes?
A:Compared with ordinary plastic pipes, PTFE pipes have: a wider temperature resistance range, stronger chemical corrosion resistance, a lower coefficient of friction, better anti-aging performance, and more stable long-term service performance. Therefore, they are suitable for industrial and equipment application scenarios with high requirements for material performance.
Q:9.PTFE vs FEP vs PFA,which one can withstand the highest temperature?
A:PFA ,260 C temperature.
Q:10.Are PTFE tubes prone to adhering to liquids?
A:It's not easy. PTFE has a low surface energy and excellent non-stick properties, making it difficult for liquids and particles to adhere, which can reduce pipeline contamination and clogging.
