PTFE corrugated tubes are primarily manufactured using blow molding, which involves processes such as mixing, preform preparation, cold extrusion, and sintering. Some high-end products utilize a multi-layered composite structure of metal mesh and glass fiber, combining the outer protective layer with the functional inner tube through hydrostatic sintering technology. A patent published in 2024 disclosed a high-pressure oil gradual pressurization technology, which allows for precise control of the corrugated structure morphology within the molding die.

Rotational forming is used to manufacture spiral corrugated hoses. During processing, thin-walled tubing is heated to 275℃-285℃ in a mandrel to form spiral corrugations, followed by end-recovery treatment with a potassium nitrate-sodium nitrate solution. The machining parameters for turning are controlled within a precise range of 500-600 r/min rotation speed and 0.08 mm feed rate.
